PROFITRAINING

Montag, 16:30 – 18:00 Uhr

Tanz Graz organisiert ein wöchentliches ZEITGENÖSSISCHES PROFITRAINING für alle, die auf Bühnen stehen (wollen).

Ziel ist es, professionellen und semi-professionellen Tänzer:innen sowie Künstler:innen anderer Genres einen Raum für gemeinsames Training zum Erhalt und zur Vertiefung ihrer Fähigkeiten zu eröffnen. Alle Tanz- und Performanceschaffenden sind herzlich willkommen.

Jede Woche leitet jemand anderer aus der freien Szene das Training. So entstehen neben dem Training ein lebendiger Austausch und die Möglichkeit einander besser kennenzulernen.

LABS-ON-DEMAND

Labs mit nationalen und internationalen Künstler:innen setzen notwendige Impulse und liefern der Szene Inspiration auf hohem Niveau. Dabei kann es sowohl um zeitgenössische Tanztechnik als auch um Performancetools gehen. Tanz Graz bietet „Labs-on-Demand“ an. Einzelne Künstler:innen oder Kompanien können ein Lab zu einem für sie relevanten Thema oder mit einem für sie inspirierenden Lehrenden vorschlagen, das dann von Tanz Graz organisiert wird (3 bis 15 Stunden). Diese Labs können zur Begleitung einer in Entwicklung befindlichen Produktion angesucht werden oder auch, um die Compagnie/Einzelkünstler:in individuell und produktionsunabhängig zu stärken.

Jadi Carboni // BETWEEN IMAGERY AND AWARENESS – AN INSTANT COMPOSITION WORKSHOP

This lab will be a journey through different levels of consciousness, inviting participants to move at the speed of their attention. Through imagery, we will integrate principles of alignment and spatial dynamics, providing our creativity with even more opportunities to flourish.

By noticing our shifting awareness, we allow ourselves to follow it, to be surprised, to embrace change, and, at times, to experience unexpected or even absurd reactions.

We will begin by exploring the introductory work of Open Source Forms, a technique based on the Skinner Releasing Technique and further developed by New York choreographer Stephanie Skura. We will then continue by creating and dancing with task-based scores, activating synergistic responses and allowing our senses to interact and play together.

Please bring your notebook and any special colored pencils or pens you like.
